Come early and bring your camera, the picnic basket and thermos. Cream and sugar will be provided, and there'll be more coffee brewing in the historical Botsford urn. At approximately 8 P.M. (Detroit time) we'll convene in nearby Amherstburg High School for a program featuring Kodachrome slides of Great Lakes and East Coast ships, loaned by our fellow member Mr.C.Bradford Mitchell of Brooklyn, N.Y. Mr.Mitchell is also editor of "Steamboat Bill" the quar- terly journal of S.S.H.S.A, and is associated withthe American Merchant Mar- ine Institute, New York. You'll enjoy seeing his fine slides. Plan to make a day of it on Saturday, June &th, starting with the Tugboat Race at 1:30, then our picnic and the meeting in the evening. Your friends and guests are always welcome.
