Later, more schooners as well as wooden steam freighters augmented Mr.Hutchinson's enterprise. His son, Charles L.Hutchinson, carried on the business, which eventually lead up to today's Hutchinson & Co. of which Mr. Hutchinson’ s grandsons, John T.Hutchinson (ii) and Gene C.Hutchinson, are the senior partners. The following vessels operated at one time or another under Hutchinson manage- ment.
