ELECTIONS At the June meeting at Amherstburg, the ballots cast indicated the return to office of the four incumbents on the Board of Advisors, namely, John R.Campbell, Capt.Sidney Ferriss, Kenneth E.Smith and Capt.William J.Taylor. A week later, on June 11, the Advisory Board convened for the an- nual election of Officers, and elected as your officers for next season: President: John R.Campbell, Vice President: Frank J.McAllister, Secretary: Robert A.Zeleznik, The Office of Treasurer will be filled at a later meeting. Meanwhile Mr.Camp- bell will function also as Acting Treasurer. The EDWARD N.SAUNDERS,Jr. (ex W.H.BECKER, ex ALEXIS W.THOMPSON) has been sold to the Browning interests. The new C.S.L. canaller IROQUOIS was launched at “™ Collingwood on June 4th. The new C.S.L.Package freighter FORT HENRY is in service, a rather sleek looking craft, with a bow similar to C1lIFFS VICTORY. Continental Grain have added two more old freighters to their Buffalo grain storage fleet, namely ANGELINE and W.G.POLLOCK. The sandsucker GRAND ISLAND which has been operating this season between Lake Erie ports, is the former Niagara River passenger and auto ferry of the same name. The tug ARIZONA of Great Lakes Towing, is nearing the completion of her conversion to diesel at her owners Cleveland repair yard. The tanker DETROIT is the former PEGGY REINAUER.
