US 81112, P her later life she was owned by a num- ber of companies from Wisconsin to New York. On April 20, 1920 she was sold to Robt.Hicks Coal & Towing Co.of Cobourg, Ont. and her Canadian number became 141764. On her new assignment she served principaliy as a coal carrier until the afternoon of July 28, 1935, when. laden with coal on Lake Ontario bound from Oswego to Cobourg, she sprung a leak and foundered. No lives were lost however, as the crew of eight men and a woman took to the lifeboats and were picked up that day by the KEYPORT. Thus another name was added to the long list of lost ships.
