TENNESSEE, 191 JOHN M.TRUBY, 1910, later NORTH DAKOTA YALE, 1909, later ARKANSAS i All of the above named tugs are in the present GLTC fleet except the fol- lowing four, Q.A.GILMORE, now the REISS stationed at Sheboygan,Wis. & owned by the Reiss Fleet, ABNER C.HARDING, now the H.J.DIXON, stationed at Toronto & owned by our fellow members, Messrs.Dixon, OHIO, recently crushed between a ldaded freighter and a pier at Buffalo, and JAMES R.SINCLAIR, the first tug built by the company, which sailed for many years in Capt. Roen! s fleet as JOHN ROEN,JR., and which is now reported to be owned in Chicago. More than half of the remaining 44 tugs have been converted to Diesel propulsion in recent years. The majority of the converted tugs are of the Olsrtor type, resembling the LOUISANA, pictured in the masthead of our October issue. A few have cabins and sleeping accommodations for the crew and can handle long tows. The MARYLAND, flagship of our fallow member, Capt.Cparles Dickens, here at Detroit, is of this type.
