Painted outside above main deck a spotless white (washed down after every trip) and below an attractive green. These colors were separated at main deck by a rich brown fender strake above which was a bright red half round molding strip. Stack was crimson. Cabin interiors trimmed in black wal- nut. Curved tops on windows and doors. Sleeping and eating accommodations for 120 passengers. Sold Canadian in 1907 & renamed CITY OF OTTAWA (Can 122018) running between Montreal and Chicago and way ports with freight & passengers. Some records show her as SAULT STE.MARIE briefly in 1929. Eventually she was towing behind the trawler MARITA in the steel trade mostly between Cleveland and Monroe. Taken over by U.S.Maritime Commission in 1942 for in- tended war service and towed to New Orleans via the Illinois Waterway and Mississippi River. The lest heard from the old veteran she was being dis- mantled on Lake Pontchartrain, near New Orleans, the war having ended.
