Crowe, of Chatham, Ont., writes; "The remains of the A. F. BOWMAN to this day lay in the shore waters of Port Arthur Harvour, adjacent to and on the North side approach, to the C. N. R. ore dock, All that is left are the ribs and the keel witha portim of the bow intact. "Last October JI had the occasion to look at the top forward end of the keel anda noticed all along the top of it, especially near the bow end, tra-~ ces of fire damage that at one time had been scraped and covered with iron plating, which now is loose and exposes the signs of fire damage on the surface at one time.
