Designed for use in the sealing trade as well as for general cargo service, the single-screw motorship will be operated by Chimo Shipping, Ltd., subsidiary of the owner firm. Completed by the Port Weller yard in just over six months from keel laying June 1, 1964, she was delivered at christening ceremonies on Nov. 7, 1964.
