WHITE left the Great Lakes in late November, 1962, for service in Chesapeake Bay in the coal trade between Baltimore and the Fairless Works for her owners, United States Steel Corporation. Her return to our Inland Seas seemed doubtful. But early this year, Bradley called her home, She moved upbound through the Welland Canal with a cargo of ore pellets loaded at Port Cartier.
