Keel was laid July 21, 1966, the vessel was launched December 3, 1966, and delivered to her owners, Hall Corporation of Canada, June 6, 1967. A tanker, she is designed for service both in the Lake and Coasting trades. Propulsion is by two Mirrless- National diesel engines driving through twin screws. The main engines may be controlled from either the wheelhouse or engine room. Principal dimensions are as follows: 371' 0.a.1., by 55' beam, by 27'6" depth, 4700 gross tons and 3322 net tons.
