two tows::-: Port Huron TIMES HERALD photo courtesy of Earl Hartson When the tug AMHERSTBURG, assisted by the ABURG, nudged the ASSINIBOIA into Sarnia's North Slip on June 27, a thousand pleasant memories were revived by Society members. Long a favorite for Society cruises, the Clyde-built steamer last carried passengers in 1965 but remained in freight service until late last fall. Now she has been pur- chased by New York night club singer Toni Carroll, her agent Charles F. Fort of Bat- on Rouge, La., and fellow-member Donald Lee of Port Lampton. Newspapers carry many rumors of the ASSINIBOIA's fate---ranging from a yacht for Liz Taylor to a floating night club and museum. Whatever lies ahead for this grand old girl, we wish her the best. She deserves it. Photo by and courtesy of J. H. Bascom On May 15 GRAEME STEWART, assisted by G. W. ROGERS, towed the veteran HAGARTY (a. J. H. HAGARTY) out of Toronto harbor. Now tied up in Kingston, this 1914-built laker ¢ awaits an uncertain fate. SWAPS & SALES [Continued ] sit Co., Ltd. Renamed LIONEL PARSONS, Algoma has sold AGAWA (a. HOWARD M.
