One by one they have fallen away and now they are all gone. It seems like only yesterday that they were everywhere. Every major port city had its fleet of sidewheelers and propellers, luxur- ious steamers ready to take the passenger almost anywhere. Fr. Edward J. Dowling will tell us about one such fleet, the Detroit & Cleveland Navigation Company, at our meeting Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Sarnia Public Library. Come join us and re-live, for a few hours, that era.
