C. Columbia has sold HOWARD M. HAN- NA JR. and BUCKEYE (a.DAVID M. WHITNEY, b.eEDWIN L. BOOTH, c. G. N.WILSON) to Steel Factors, Ltd. for scrapping overseas. On the evening of Oct. the tug S.IH. DEAN, towing the HANNA JR., and the tug SALVAGE MONARCH, towing the BUCKEYE, arrived off Port Colborne. The BUCKEYE was anch= ored while both tugs took the HANNA JR. into port. When the tugs returned to BUCKEYE, the wind and sea had come up and they were unable to make up the tow and returned to port. During the night BUCKEYE broke from her anchor and went onto the beach about two miles west of Port Colborne.
