Walton When ROBERTSON Took the Bit in Her Teeth Here they were, moored side by side off Port Dalhousie, waiting while the German tugs FAIRPLAY 10 and FAIRPLAY 12 delivered PHILIP MINCH and HARRY W. CROFT to Quebec. Then early on Aug. 20 PETER ROBERTSON broke away from J.E. UPSON and went aground near Jordan Harbor, Ont. She was finally pulled off by a Mc- Allister tug on Aug. 25 after two others had failed to free her. Then the German tugs, which weren't per- mitted to handle the grounding be- mm cause it was in Canadian waters, finished the tow to Quebec, the em- barkation point for a trans-—Atlan- tic tow to Spanish shipbreakers.
