"a freighter in February?" Lee exclaimed to himself and he quickly took this photograph. It really would have been a rare photographic treasurer in the past but in February of 1975 it was not at all unu- sual. At this writing there seems a good possibility of the first 12- month navigation season in Great Lakes history.
