ACME (US.297), wooden propellor built in 1856 at Buffalo by G.Hardison. 921 gross tons. Operated after 1884 in the Western Transportation Co. Foundered 20 mi.off Dunkirk, N.Y.,L°Erie, 11-7-1867 BADGER STATE (US.2111), wooden propellor built in 1862 at Buffalo by Mason & Bidwell, 213 x 33 x 13. Sagiled later in Western Transit Co and other fleets until destroyed by fire at Marine City, 12-6-1909. T.U.BRADBURY (US.24109), wooden propellor built at Cleveland in 1855 by L-Moses. 180 x 27 x 10. Later sailed in the Anchor Line and other fleets. Engines removed c.1973 and hull rerigged as schooner FLORENCE M.DICKENSON. Stranded near Kewaunee, Wis, 1885. BUFFALO (US.2655), wooden propellor built by Bidwell & Banta at Buffalo n 1851. 202 x 29 x 12. Had sailed in the American Transportation Co. before coming to Ensign. Owned by Western Trans Co. in 1870s. Reduced to a barge in 1877 and abandoned due to age in 1890.(See P.2) Below: the ONEIDA (Pastel by Huntington).:
