SEYMOUR was a name assigned to Northwest Engineering Works for a tug whose con- tract was cancelled at the end of World War I. (US. 219128) was built at Manitowoc by Burger and was powered by a Montague She was sold in 1923 and renamed GROVE E. WARNER. Later carried the names She served the Meseck line for 31 years SPANIEL engine. JOHN A. MESECK and WILLIAM F. MESECK. before abandoned in 1954. WILLIAM F. MESECK SUAMICO The Late John Poole Collection SUAMICO (US. 218516) was completed at Green Bay by Northwest Engineering Works and was equipped with a steam engine from Valley Iron Works at Appleton, Wisconsin. She was sold in 1921 by USSB to James Hughes of New York, who sold her two years later to Lehigh Valley Railroad. At this time she was renamed LEHIGH. McAllister Brothers acquired LEHIGH in 1951 and repowered it with a General Motors diesel engine in 1952 and renamed it GRACE McALLISTER. She was finally junked in 1966. TERRIER (US. 218907) a Burger, Manitowoc job with a Montague engine, was sold to Moran in 1921 and renamed AGNES A. MORAN. In 1930 it passed into the J. E. Moore Towing Company of New York and became WILLIAM C. MOORE. The tug was dismantled in 1955. eae
