(C. 313963) rebuilt in 1980 as a self-unloader and deepened 6 feet by the Port Arthur Shipbuilding Co. at Thunder Bay, Ontario. Rededicated June 20, 1980. b SEAWAY TRADER "Jay" Bascom Photo Steel tanker built in 1947 at Collingwood, Ontario by the Collingwood Shipbuilding Co. (Hull #137) as (a) IMPERIAL COLLINGWOOD (C. 176114) 252.1 x 43.5 x 17.73 2,128 gross tons. Lengthened 41'6" in 1961; lengthened 30' by adding new bow and stern in 1969. Renamed (b) SEAWAY TRADER in 1978. -?-
