NO DUMMIES THESE! A while ago, we spoke of dummy second stacks on passenger vessels. This time we present a few steel bulk freighters with two stacks in tandem (both working), which, at the turn of the century, seemed to be the "in" thing. Unfortunately, this custom was soon abandoned. Within the past few years, the idea of twin stacked vessels has been revived; this time they are athwartship (side by side). Not counting wooden ships, package freighters or carferries, can you name any other steel vessels with two stacks?
