Operated by Mutual Transit Co. for Northern until 1916 when it became part of Great Lakes Transit Co. Renamed J. E. GORMAN, 1926. To coast in 1942 and later Panamanian ADELAIDE. Scrapped in Japan in 1953. NORTH LAND (US.130690) Steel passenger liner built for the fleet by Globe Iron Works, Cleveland in 1895. 358 x 44 x 23, 4244 gross tons. Twin quadruple expansion engines built by the shipbuilders. Taken to Quebec during World War I and scrapped there in 1921. a
