GLADIATOR (US 85263) wood tug built in 1871 at Port Huron by Fitzgerald & Leighton: 115.8 x 22.3 x 12.0; 220 gross tons. In fleet 1884, Scrapped at Stoney Island, Detroit River 1959-60. 24. CHRIS GROVER (US 125667) wood schooner built in 1878 at Lorain by W. A. Jones: 89.6 x 22.5 x 8.7; 133 gross tons. In the fleet 1880-1881. Stranded about 40 miles north of Duluth October 25, 1899 and became a total loss. 25. GRACE GRUMMOND (US 85552) iron government Survey vessel built in 1856 at Philadelphia by Reaney & Neafie as a) SEARCH; 136.5 x 22.0 x 8.6; 195 gross tons. Brought to the lakes by Grummond in 1878 and renamed b) GRACE GRUMMOND. In the fleet to 1880. Converted to a barge in 1885. Sold Canadian (C. 116760) in 1904 and renamed c) BALTIC. Abandoned at Port Maitland. Out of register in 1927. Data wanted. 26. ISLAND QUEEN (US 12097) wood sidewheel passenger steamer built in 1854 at Kelley's Island by Daniel Dibble: 122.6 x 20.6 x 7.1; 168 gross tons. In the fleet 1870-1872. Reduced to a barge in 1875. Wrecked at Grand Haven, Lake Michigan in 1876. Document surrendered December 5, 1876. Details of wreck unknown. ISLAND QUEEN 27. KEWEENAW (US 14043) wood sidewheel passenger steamer built in 1866 at Marine City by Thomas Arnold; 202.0 x 29.7 x 11.8; 800 gross tons. In the fleet 1886. Reduced to a barge in 1887 (493 gross tons). Abandoned at Sandusky in 1906. Hulk buried when the waterfront was extended. 28. LEVIATHAN (US 14612) wood tug built in 1857 at Buffalo by B. B. Jones: 126.0 x 25.0 x 9.0; 232 gross tons. In the fleet 1887-1891. Burned at her dock in Cheboygan, Michigan, November 12, 1891. 29. GEO. B. McCLELLAN (US 10240) wood tug built in 1862 at Ashtabula by Ed Lockwood: 102.0 x 19.0 x 9.0; 108 gross tons. In the fleet 1877-1887. Abandoned in 1887. Document surrendered March 10, 1887. 30. MANISTIQUE (US 91436) wood steam barge built in 1882 at Gibraltar by Craig & Linn (hull #24): 157.1 x 31.1 x 12.53 473 gross tons. In the fleet 1892-1893. Sold Canadian (C. 96890) in 1904. Back in US registry in 1907 and resold Canadian in 1928. Burned and scuttled on Lake Huron October 18, 1933. 31. WM. A. MOORE (US 26244) wood tug built in 1869 at Detroit by J. M.
