GAILLARD has been given to the Head of the Lakes Maritime Society for permanent display at Barker's Island at Superior, Wisconsin, alongside the whaleback steamer METEOR. The 135-foot dipper-dredge was built at Green Bay in 1916 and last saw service during the 1981 season. Two former Corps tugs were presented to marine museums at Chicago and Milwaukee earlier during 1984.
