GRAND HAVEN Author's Collection GRAND HAVEN (US 200007), Steel car ferry built in 1903 at Toledo for Crosby Car Ferry Company, operating the ship for the Grand Trunk Western Railway. 306 x 54 x 17; 2320 gross tons. Sold off lakes in 1946 to West India Fruit and Steamship Co. of Puerto Cortes, Honduras for service between Florida and Cuba. Received a Honduran official number at that time, ("Hond. 2180"). Returned to the Lakes in the late 1960's but was never used. Scrapped at Hamilton in 1970. Last listed owners were Uscan, Inc. of Detroit.
