Machinery installed and ship completed at Detroit by Detroit Dry Dock Co. (Hull #77) in 1887. Chartered by Crosby occasionally in early years of 20th century. NO. 5, U.S. 120812), Wooden package freighter built at Bay City by F.W. Wheeler & Co. (Hull #77) for Flint & Pere Marquette Railroad. 226 x 38 x 24; 1723 gross tons. Spent much of its life under charter to various steamship lines. Sold to Maritime Provinces in 1916 and eventually renamed ANZAC. Foundered in heavy weather of Nanset, Massachusetts in 1916.
