CAPETAN YIANNIS thus became the last commercial vessel of the year to transit the Seaway, which closed on December 29 with the passage of the Canadian Coast Guard icebreaker TRACY. *** "Marine News" reports that the heavy lift vessel PAUL BUNYAN, built by Peterson at Sturgeon Bay in 1979, has been sold to the U. S. Government.
