They purchased the five vessels of the Gartland Steamship Company and the twelve ships of the Reiss Steamship Company. The W.E. GEORGE G. BARNUM in 1915 and c.) HENNEPIN in 1936. Converted to a self-unloader at Lorain, Ohio in 1957. Purchased by American Steamship Co. in 1969. Sold for scrap in 1975. Towed to Humberstone, Ontario by SALVAGE MONARCH and HELEN M. MCALLISTER arriving April 30, 1975. Scrapping re ] completed December 1976.
