Davis' New Craft - building by R. Davis for Capt. Collier and D.W. Allison; engine in position with wheel, shaft, rudder chains and stern plate.

The Shovellers' Strike - The members of the Shoveller's Union are confident that when the spring arrives Capt. Gaskin will be compelled to pay their tariff; but on the other hand, it is said that the Captain is getting a gang of men from Montreal.
