MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The schr. J.G. Worts left Garden Island last night for the canal.

The schr. Grantham, Chicago, is unloading 20,000 bush. of grain at Portsmouth.

The freight on the schr. Wheatsides' (sic - Westside ?) cargo to Portsmouth was 3 7/8 cents per bushel.

The barge Oz is unloading 100 tons of smith's coal at the Kingston Penitentiary dock.

The schr. Grantham left Collinsby last evening for Frankfort, Mich., where she loads timber.

The steambarge Adventurer is now on the ways at the K. & M. F. Co.'s shipyard, Portsmouth. She will receive general repairs, including a new stern.

The steamer Algerian arrived at Swift's this morning and had on board a large number of passengers, principally tourists. Summer travel on the mail line is looking up.

The schr. Speedwell left today with 191,000 feet of lumber for Oswego. The Sea Bird arrived at Rathbun's with wood. The schr. Houghton cleared for Charlotte today to load coal.

On Tuesday last another attempt was made to raise the sunken Oneida by pumping. They succeeded in raising her several feet, when she careened over a little and settled back in her old place. Another attempt will be made very soon.
