MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The Passport has gone into winter quarters at Sorel.

The schr. Elgin will load ore for Fairhaven tomorrow.

The schr. King has arrived at Garden Island with timber.

The schr. C.W. Port (sic - C.W. Post ?) cleared for Cape Vincent this morning with a load of lath and shingles.

The schr. H.R. Rounds has arrived with 22,000 bushels of wheat, consigned to the M.T. Co.

Capt. Merryman has successfully removed the sunken schr. Trenton from the channel at Presque Isle.

Sixty passengers came from the West on a Pullman car today and embarked on the steamer Corsican for Montreal.

The steamer Princess Louise, on coming from the Cape yesterday at noon, stuck in the canal. The crew got out a line and pulled her loose.

Capt. Pierce is building a handsome yacht at Floating Bridge. It is nearly finished. He values it at $3,000, and claims that it will be very fleet.
