p.1 Deseronto News - The steam barge Resolute cleared late on Saturday night for Clayton, N.Y., with a load of railroad ties. The Reliance has laid up for the winter.

p.3 Incidents Of The Day - The sloop Lorraine is loading barley at Long Island for Cape Vincent.

Ice formed so heavily on Wolfe Island shore this morning that the Pierrepont had to break it up with a full head of steam.

Richardson & Sons are storing the schr. White Oak with rye for the winter, and loading the H. Dudley with 11,000 bushels of barley for Cape Vincent.
