p.1 Around About Home - H.C. Rees, Clayton, building a schooner of 15 feet keel. (sic)

p.3 Incidents Of the Day - The engine of the str. Pierrepont has been erected, and she is now ready for the opening of navigation. The machinery of the Maud is now being replaced.

A large boiler is being constructed at the Kingston Foundry for the str. Augusta, of St. Catharines. This is the first order received for such work from St. Catharines or vicinity. John Hazlett is superintending the work of the boiler.

Vessel owners are talking of repairs, of cooks and such.
