p.2 Late Local News - Capt. W. Manson, Port Hope, late of schr. Cavalier, will command the steam barge Tecumseh, lying at Detroit, next season.
Within the last ten years 150 sailing vessels in the Providence of Ontario have gone out of existence
p.3 Inspector Taylor's Movements - Capt. Thomas Taylor having inspected, for the underwriters, vessels along Lakes Huron and Ontario, Georgian Bay, and at Windsor and Sarnia, has returned home. This week he will examine masters and mates, of whom two or three have already appeared before him. Next week he will go to his vessel at (Detroit. ?)
