MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The steamers Passport and Algerian called at Swift's wharf.

A yacht, built at Clayton, for Mr. Johnson of that place, was launched today.

The tug Seymour passed up this morning with two barges, light, for Oswego.

The steambarge Nile and consorts left for Clayton today with railroad ties.

The schr. Jessie Scarth is unloading timber at Garden Island. She will be hauled out at Port Dalhousie for repairs.

Yesterday Mr. Adams, government inspector, inspected the boiler and engine of the ferry steamer Mary Ethel at Belleville.

The schr. Emerald went to Quebec today with the balance of her cargo of deals. Three of her sailors refused to assist in lightening her and were discharged.
