MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The schr. Annie M. Foster is to be hauled out on the K. & M. F. Co.'s marine railway.

The Oswego seamen's union have advanced the night sailors' wages to $3.50 per day.

The steambarge Clinton and consort, from Duluth to Kingston with corn, are in the Welland Canal.

The schr. Cora W. Post has taken to Clayton part of the cargo of the sunken schr. Gipsy. The Gipsy was brought to the city yesterday and will be pumped out and repaired here.

The general impression is that the schr. Belle Mitchell could not weather the gale on Lake Erie on Thursday last, and sank. This is the third Oswego vessel lost during the big blow. The other two were the schrs. O.M. Bond and Nevada.

When the schr. O.M. Bond went down on Lake Erie the Captain, cook and sailors got on the cross-trees. One sailor remained on the main rigging, and when the mainmast toppled over he went overboard, one of his feet getting tangled in the rope. With rare presence of mind he cut off his boot with his knife, slashing his foot in the operation. In some unaccountable way he reached the deck and the forerigging where he held fast and was taken off 24 hours afterwards.

Arrivals - prop. Reliance, Oswego, light.

Cleared - schr. Philo Bennett, Oswego, 6,000 bushels barley; sloop Greenhorn, Alexandria Bay, 29,471 feet lumber and shingles; schr. Cora W. Post, Clayton, 20 tons of coal.

p.8 Several Street Rows - mate and sailors from schr. Gulnair fighting in streets.

Sunken Oak Timber - in Navy Bay.
