Description
Full Text

The trade of this Port has never, perhaps, been in a more prosperous and flourishing condition, than at the present moment. The quantity of produce on our wharves is enormous; and though many new storehouses are being erected, the want of Store Room is severely felt.

The Ottawa and Rideau Company alone, have nearly 30,000 Barrels of Flour on hand. The Rideau Canal is in active operation, and our Forwarders will carry on an unusually extensive and highly profitable business this season.
