THE RACINE. - The name of the steamer formerly known as the CITY OF TORONTO has been changed to RACINE. She is about to take her departure for Lake Michigan, to ply there as a passenger boat. - Detroit Free Press

Steamer ALGOMA. [C] of 416 tons. Built Niagara in 1841. Owned by Perry & Carruthers. Home port Montreal. Class Æ Value $30,000. REMARKS. -- Formerly CITY OF TORONTO, rebuilt in 1863.

The old ALGOMA that has so long lain in Collingwood harbour a fruitful cause of profanity to navigation has been towed out and now serves the purpose of a slab dock at the new mill.
