Schooner MARY COPLEY, of Oswego, changed her name to MADELINE T. DOWING, during 1887

Oswego.---The schooner MARY COPLEY is being extensively repaired at Goble & Macfarlane's yard, having both ends made new, with new decks, etc. To this will be added a new monkey rail, and she will be handsomely painted and the name changed to the MADELINE T. DOWNING, after a niece of the owner, Mr. Steve H. Lyon. The schooner will be a handsome craft when finished.
