Schooner RUSSIA. official Canadian No. 72997. Of 140.28 tons gross; 133.14 tons register. Built at Port Credit in 1876 by Alfred Shafer of Port Credit. A two masted schooner, Counter stern, carvel built of wood. 99.0 x 21.6 x 7.6
      NOTATION:-- Ship stranded during a storm at Piers, Erie peninsula, Nov. 19, 1881 & became a partial loss. Registry closed Feb., 6, 1882
