The Madeline Downing was captained by my great grandfather Patrick Woods in the mid 1880's. His wife Ellen G. Woods sailed with him cooking meals. He also captained the Walter H Oades. They lived in Oswego,NY. Around the corner was Capt. Quigley's house. His boat was the West End. The two captains helped each other building their two houses during the winter months. I am looking for photos of Capt. Woods ships.
