      * Renamed GROWLER - U. S. - 1812
      HAMILTON -
On Lake Ontario before 1812. Bought by U. S. Government armed and renamed GROWLER, captured by British 1813 and recaptured by U. S. in 1813. Retaken by British at Oswego 1814.
