A very large cargo on a moderate draft of water passed this way yesterday afternoon, bound westward on board the schr. JOHN M. HUTCHINSON, now on her first voyage with a cargo of consisting of 1,300 tons of coal on 11 1/2 ft. She lacked considerable of ebing loaded to her full capacity. Her burden under the old measurement is stated to be 1,150 tons and her grain capacity 68,000 bushels of corn. Her dimensions are as follows: Length of keel, 224 ft.; overall 230 ft.; breadth of beam 36 ft.; depth of hold 14 ft. 8 inches; total cost, $80,000. The HUTCHINSON was built at Cleveland by Quayle & Son for Capt. Frank Perew of Buffalo and is named after a prominent gentlemen of the latter city. She is sailed by Capt. Robert Todd. Her rigging is that of a three-and-aft double topsail vessel, painted green up to the waist and snow white above.
