Oswego (Steamboat), 4 Dec 1833
- Full Text
Last Saturday, agreeably to the notice in our last, the new and elegant Steam-boat OSWEGO was launched, and it was the most splendid sight of the kind we ever beheld. She went off into her future element, gracefully and proudly, without a hindrance or accident of any kind. Our place, whose name she bears, may well be proud of her - she is a beautiful boat. It is expected she will be in readiness to maker her trips early in the spring; and we hope her publick spirited owners will find a liberal return for the expense and labour they have bestowed upon her.
