Description
Full Text

The stm. ALBION is now in the shipyard of Mr. Wolverton, undergoing certain improvements necessary to the growing business of the route. Thirty feet is to be added to her present length, so as to change her model, and thereby add to her speed. This with some contemplated improvements in her machinery, will render her a great acquisition to the business of Mt. Clemens and Ashley; and we are certain that her present owners, the enterprising firm of Roelofson, Collins & Vorce, will leave nothing undone that may be required to meet the wants of the travelling business public.

      . . . . .

The repairs and alterations on the steamer ALBION are nearly completed. She has been lengthened at each end, which will have the effect doubtless of accelerating her rate of speed. -- Detroit Tribune, 26th.
