We perceive by the Niagara Chronicle that Mr. Bethune has launched another steamer at Niagara named the AMERICA. The new vessel is five feet longer than the TRAVELLER, and will be propelled by one engine of 60 horse power. She is intended to ply between Toronto and Rochester.

A new steamer, christened the AMERICA, was on Wednesday launched in capital style from the yard of our Harbour Dock Company. Mr. Bethune is owner of the new vessel, which is five feet longer than the TRAVELLER, will be propelled by one engine of 60 horse power, and is intended to ply between Toronto and Rochester. --- Niagara Chronicle, Jan. 6.

A New Steamer - We learn from the Niagara Chronicle that a new steamer, name AMERICA was last week launched from the yard of the Harbor and Dock Co., of that place. The vessel is owned by Mr. Bethume, is 5 feet longer than the TRAVELLER will be propelled by one engine of 60 horsepower, and is intended to ply the coming season between Toronto and Rochester.
