America (Steamboat), 17 Aug 1850

Description
Full Text

The splendid Upper Cabin stm. AMERICA is now lying in Buffalo, and undergoing an extensive overhauling and repairing. The stm. EMPIRE being permanently fixed in the Sandusky and Buffalo line, the AMERICA fills her place in the Chicago line. The AMERICA will be in complete order in a few days, and will leave Buffalo for Chicago, August 26th. Success to her and Capt. Squier! Everybody will be glad to see them in the upper country.
We hope to see her filled full every time.
