NEW VESSEL. ---- The Oswego Journal of the 7th. says: ---- " A new fore-and-aft schooner, to be called the BARBARIAN, is to be launched this afternoon, from the shipyard of A. Miller & Co. She is a large well built vessel, and it is estimated she will carry 17,500 bushels of wheat through the canal. her keel is 135 feet, beam 28 feet 2 inches, and depth of hold 11 feet 2 inches. She is owned by Smith & Post, and is to be commanded by Capt. George Clement, formerly of the schooner CONQUEST. The BARBARIAN will sail in about a week for Milwaukee with a cargo of lumber.
