LAUNCH.---The propeller J.W. BROOKS was launched yesterday afternoon from the shipyard of Wm. Gooding, by whom she was built, George Irwin, Master workman. Her boilers which are of the Montgomery pattern, are built by J. & J. Brennan, and her engine by Van Schoick & Kellogg. She is of 300 tons burden, is owned by Capt. Kellogg and is built for the St. Clair and Buffalo trade, for carrying lumber. ----- Detroit Adv. 15th.
