THE LAUNCH. -- The propeller BUFFALO, built by Bidwell, Banta & Co. for Messrs. L.H. Pratt and Geo. B. Walbridge, was launched on Saturday afternoon. The BUFFALO is the largest propeller afloat on the lakes, being 700 tons burthen. Her model is designed for speed. She has an engine of great power, and will be the fastest as well as the largest of the propellers. She goes into dry-dock today, and will probably be in sailing trim in a week or so.
