The work of lengthening the steamer CASTALIA 42 feet was finished at Cleveland yesterday and she sailed on her first trip last night.

      CLEVELAND, July 17. - The steamer CASTALIA, which was lengthened 72 feet at the local shipyard, loaded her first cargo at Duluth last week. She took on 4809 tons, which was 1336 tons more than she ever loaded before she was lengthened.

NOTE - After checking the length of the CASTALIA in 1904 and in 1906, it was found that 72 feet was the correct addition.
