Maritime History of the Great Lakes

City of Buffalo (Steamboat), 1 Jun 1896

Description
Full Text

The new stm. CITY OF BUFFALO still atracts a good deal of attention, and a number of people went up to the C.& B. dock to look her over. They were disappointed, however, because Sunday is the only day they can clean her up, and nobody was allowed aboard. Yesterday a large gang of men were at work scrubbing etc. Business in the line is picking up every day, and it is probable that there will be a contract let soon for another boat.
